Blanking out

I'm having one of those days in which I feel completely stumped for blog-worthy material.

I couldn't tell you why, exactly--but on the other hand, nor could I tell you how I go about choosing my topics when I do feel inspired to write. I think the Blogging Muses are either in my corner on any given day, or they're not. And today, they're not.

Instead, I bring you: TECHKnitting. If you haven't already visited this site, you should check it out. In my ongoing quest to become more of a process knitter (focusing on getting it right rather than getting it finished), I've found some of the tips on this site incredibly useful. Not that I'm as anal fiddly a knitter as all that, but from time to time I do like to improve my technique.

Her instructions are clear, straightforward, and often illustrated; and the posts are indexed alphabetically, chronologically, by series, by subject, and by "greatest hits."

So, yeah. Get over there, browse around, marvel at her skills. By the time you come back, I might have something reasonably intelligent to say.

TECHknitting is *awesome*! On her blog I've found a way to do kitchener stitch without using a tapestry needle, and her instructions are so clear and easy to understand. I've spent 2 years trying to learn the usual method of kitchener, but with her instructions I had learned it in 1/2 hour!
